Western Interior Oil & Gas Corporation was founded in August 2005 as a privately held Wyoming C- Corporation. The company is driven by creativity and technology utilizing an integrated geosciences- engineering-business approach to problem solving. Our staff consists of seasoned professionals with proven track records of success in their respective fields.
The company is actively involved in all aspects of the exploration process from the creation of concepts through the execution of drilling projects. Exploration prospects are generated internally by our staff of geoscientists and engineers. To manage risk the company generally works with partners on its exploration projects once they have reached the drilling stage.
The company’s production is dominated by crude oil with natural gas constituting a small but growing part of our business. Our liquids production is about equally split between heavy asphaltic and medium to light paraffin base crude oils which are sold into the regional and Midwestern markets.
A majority of our operations are conducted within the short-grass and shrub-steppe habitats that occupy the vast expanses of the regions intermontane basins. Western Interior is committed to good stewardship of the land, working to minimize our impacts to the environment while at the same time contributing to the oil and gas needs of the country in an efficient and cost effective manner.
